Ridgerock School of Secondry Education
For a decades the students at Ridgerock High and the Ridgerock Academy of Education, two neighbouring schools in the small, English town of Ridgerock, have rivalled each other. This rivalry will however will have to come to an end as Ridgerock High has repeatedly failed in exam scores and inspections causing the governors to cut funding leaving the school to die down, like the fires in the staff room. This would be the case if the Head of the Ridgerock Academy had not stepped in. The two establishments are now due to merge at the beginning of the new academic year with all of the students studying under The Ridgerock Academy's building and under the new name of 'Ridgerock School of Secondry Education'.
-:Ridgerock High:-
Ridgerock High is a place of learning for anyone that wishes to learn, well not quite. As there is no entry requirements to get a place at the school, other than a bank account, it is overrun by a multitude of people who all come from different back grounds but they all have one thing in common, they didn't make it to the Academy. Many of the students there don't care about there education and were simply sent away by there parents and told to learn but there are a select few that were just a grade or two off in the Academy entry exam and so they had to settle for this place. Although life at Ridgerock High is tough a certain understanding is shared amongst the pupils that learn there and that is to hate all Academy students.
-:Ridgerock Academy of Education:-
Ridgerock Academy of Education contains only the finest student in the country, hosting academics, athletes and future entrepreneurs. The majority of the people in the school are like minded and are usually very wealthy. Most of the Students don't hate the pupils from Ridgerock High but are instead forced to retaliate against the constant abuse that they receive from them, this has left a sour taste in there mouths that will only get worse when the two are thrown together.
-:Extra Infomation:-
~The students will live in two separate accommodation but study in the same building
-Ridgerock High Students live in an old apartment complex in the centre of town where they share rooms in groups of 4
-Ridgerock Academy Students live in a large manor house near the school building where they have there own rooms
~All students will not wear uniform but are expected to dress appropriately
~The Academy Headmaster will remain in his place and Ridgerock High's Headmaster will become his deputy
~Lessons are taught by a mixture of teachers from both schools
~There will be three lessons per day on monday to friday with a break after the first and second
~After school clubs run for one hour starting ten minutes after regular lessons begin
~Students are free to do what they want during the weekends
~The school runs on the English educational system and so players are expected to use English terminology
~Players are expected to write at least one decently sized paragraph per post 5-6 lines
~Post must contain spellings and grammar that are, for the most part, correct
~All characters are between the ages of 12-16
~The roleplay will begin on the first day of the new school year where no lessons take place. The two schools are to be taught about the changes that are being made because of the merge on that day and get to know each other.
